About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Associates for the upcoming tax season, offering a fully remote work environment. The role involves assisting clients with their tax preparation using Intuit TurboTax products, providing tax advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. Tax Associates will collaborate with a dedicated team while working from home, contributing to the company's mission of Powering Prosperity Around the World.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate information to customers.
• Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Experience using commercial tax preparation software.
• Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Dedicated hardwired Internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
