As a Technical Project Manager at Pearson, you will play a pivotal role in the Assessment Operations Group, which is dedicated to supporting state programs and technical initiatives through effective project management. This position requires a strong passion for education and a collaborative spirit, as you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of various projects, including software development and IT infrastructure initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of project management, from analyzing business processes and workflows to developing comprehensive project schedules and charters. You will be the driving force behind the implementation of projects, adhering to Agile methodologies for both development and testing phases. In this part-time, contract role, you will be expected to work 20 hours per week, specifically 4 hours each weekday, until July 15, 2025. Your primary focus will be on managing the complete project life cycle, which includes preliminary planning, execution, and project closing. You will communicate effectively with partners at all levels, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project duration. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a cooperative environment among team members, promoting collaboration, and maintaining a focus on cost, schedule, scope, quality, and communication.
