About the position

The Associate Technical Support Analyst role at Optum involves providing technical assistance to clients, diagnosing issues, and resolving IT problems efficiently. This position is crucial in ensuring that users receive the support they need to utilize technology effectively, contributing to improved health outcomes through better access to care and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with clients to diagnose technical issues
  • Providing step-by-step instructions to fix technological issues
  • Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues in a timely manner
  • Installing and configuring software
  • Walking users through the process of fixing technical issues
  • Prioritizing workload to ensure the most critical issues are resolved first

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • 1+ years of experience using strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • 1+ years of experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Excel and Crystal Reports
  • 1+ years of experience with Managed Care and/or Healthcare data
  • Basic level of proficiency in SQL Query
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
