As an Associate Territory Manager in Pharmaceutical Sales, you will play a crucial role in selling our products in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position requires critical thinking and a strategic approach to understand the healthcare landscape, including payers, health systems, and business dynamics, to effectively gain access to customers and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. The role involves comprehensive territory management, where you will develop a strong understanding of the territory and reimbursement landscape. You will utilize business insights tools to analyze and adapt to the evolving business needs. Account management is also a key responsibility, as you will systematically navigate the healthcare environment to understand accounts and engage key stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted partner. In terms of selling skills and customer experience, you will need to demonstrate dialogue agility by actively listening and adapting to customer prompts during interactions. Medical integrity is essential, as you will need to quickly learn and understand clinical information, our product portfolio, and the therapeutic marketplace to engage effectively with all members of an office or account. You will promote our entire product portfolio by planning and engaging in patient-centered dialogues with customers, utilizing our selling model to help them identify appropriate patients. Execution and results are critical in this role. You will utilize all available business analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while adhering to internal policies and the PhRMA code. Collaboration with field-facing and internal peers is necessary to create a coordinated and positive customer experience. This position is not just about selling; it’s about building relationships and making a difference in the lives of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Actively listen and adapt to verbal and non-verbal customer prompts during calls.
  • Demonstrate high learning agility to understand clinical information and product portfolio.
  • Engage with every member of an office/account using clinical knowledge.
  • Promote the entire product portfolio through patient-centered dialogues.
  • Utilize selling model to help customers identify appropriate patients.
  • Meet customer needs and achieve sales goals using business analytic resources.
  • Collaborate effectively with field-facing and internal peers to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
  • Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after completion of an undergraduate college degree.
  • Demonstrated business ownership skills, selling/customer experience skills, and execution/results.
  • Account-based selling experience and ability to engage staff members in accounts.
  • Strong learning agility, self-motivated, team-focused, emotionally intelligent, and influential.
  • Bilingual skills as aligned with territory and customer needs.
  • Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
