About the position

The Associate Underwriter position at FCCI is designed to support the acquisition and retention of profitable commercial lines customers within the Agribusiness team. The role involves various underwriting activities, including preparing quotes and proposals, analyzing underwriting information, and fostering strong relationships with agency personnel and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes and proposals for commercial lines customers.
• Organize and analyze underwriting information.
• Work closely with multiple underwriters to ensure effective underwriting processes.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with agency personnel, Rating and Loss Control staff, and other departments.

Requirements

• Motivated and well-organized individual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to analyze and interpret underwriting information effectively.
• Strong communication skills to build relationships with agency personnel and internal teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in commercial lines underwriting or related field.
• Familiarity with agribusiness insurance products.
