About the position

The Associate Vice President, 340B Compliance will lead a team of subject matter experts in 340B operations and the pharmacy marketplace. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including government agencies and healthcare providers, to ensure compliance with 340B regulations. The position also includes overseeing educational programs and strategic initiatives to enhance compliance and operational performance within the 340B program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as business lead for compliance-related projects, including eligibility, diversion, and duplicate discounts.
• Build and foster relationships with key Prime Vendor Program (PVP) participant sites to develop additional compliance opportunities.
• Maintain a high level of subject matter expertise and customer satisfaction with covered entity C-suite leaders.
• Support HRSA and Apexus leadership teams with operational expertise on special projects regarding pharmacy policy and practice.
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight to Apexus 340B University and other education programming to ensure compliance with HRSA's interpretation of 340B rules.
• Oversee expert-level escalation support for the Apexus Answers call center.
• Identify and analyze 340B and pharmacy market trends to provide insights and communicate best practice solutions.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholder groups engaged with the 340B program.
• Represent Apexus as a 340B thought leader in national and regional forums.

Requirements

• A pharmacy degree is required (Pharm D preferred).
• A Master's degree in business or healthcare is desired.
• 10 or more years' experience with 340B pharmacy is required.
• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software is required.
• Board of Pharmacy registered preferred.
• Completion of an ASHP-approved pharmacy residency is desired.
• ACE (Apexus Certified Expert) preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
