About the position

Hillel International is seeking an Associate Vice President (AVP) for Campus Antisemitism Solutions, a strategic leader dedicated to combating antisemitism and enhancing campus climates. This remote position involves developing and managing the Campus Impact Advisors program, which places Advisors on high-need campuses to support students and faculty in addressing antisemitism. The AVP will collaborate with various stakeholders to implement effective strategies and provide training and support to Advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy, design, development, and oversight of the Campus Impact Advisors program.
  • Revise and iterate program structure and content based on feedback and evolving campus needs.
  • Serve as a critical partner and intermediary between Hillel International, campus staff, and university partners.
  • Work closely with internal leadership to provide timely updates and relevant data to program funders.
  • Partner with People Operations on hiring the inaugural cohort of Advisors.
  • Develop comprehensive training protocols for onboarding and developing Advisors.
  • Discern and disseminate best practices from the cohort to the broader Hillel movement.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships and develop strategies to shift campus climate.
  • Provide support for Advisors navigating local challenges and serve as an escalation point.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of substantial experience in political, media, and/or community organizing, preferably within the Jewish communal context.
  • Professional experience in Jewish life on campus and the higher education landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, build, and manage successful programs.
  • High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced working knowledge of antisemitism and associated political, media, and communal institutions.
  • Entrepreneurial and creative leadership skills.
