About the position

The Associate Video Editor at LEO Events is responsible for the editorial and finishing of internal and external video packages. This role involves footage assembly, color correction, sound finishing, basic graphic animations, and occasional video shooting. The position requires collaboration with creative directors and producers to create finished video deliverables while also working independently on certain projects. The role is based in Nashville and requires occasional travel and flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver finished video modules that tell the internal or client story as assigned.
• Assist with creating cutting-edge video edits and professional graphics.
• Provide basic video shooting for creative or documentation purposes.
• Work on tight turnarounds and strict schedule requirements.
• Assist with video finishing in both color correction and audio finishing.
• Animate pre-existing artwork for use within videos.
• Maintain a video archive filing system of all raw footage, final videos, and show records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in film or media-related field
• 2+ years of experience in professional video editing preferred
• Proficient in Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects, Resolve, ProTools
• Operational knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
• Solid understanding of MS Office Suite, Keynote, Dropbox, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook
• Knowledge of building motion graphics
