About the position

As an Associate Vocera System Administrator, you will be responsible for sustaining and optimizing Vocera communication and collaboration solutions in a live healthcare environment. This role involves providing training and support to clinicians and hospital staff, ensuring effective use of the system to enhance healthcare delivery. Your expertise in workflow, customer support, and troubleshooting will be crucial in achieving Stryker's mission to improve healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Vocera databases and establish processes for maintaining data integrity.
• Work with clinical departments to keep various database entities current.
• Manage Vocera servers, including software updates, OS maintenance, and backups.
• Collaborate with the customer on anti-virus, server monitoring, and disaster recovery practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for Vocera devices and manage the RMA process.
• Train users on effective use of Vocera and document training processes for new hires and current employees.
• Provide on-site support for reporting and resolving end user issues with Vocera equipment and databases.
• Collaborate with Vocera Technical Support to resolve technical issues.
• Develop and administer end user satisfaction programs, including regular surveys.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business, or IT, or 6+ years of related work experience.
• 2+ years of clinical or healthcare IT experience required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Demonstrated success in delivering excellent customer support.
• Prior experience supporting clinical end users through rounding and training preferred.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments with physicians and nursing staff.
• Experience with clinical workflow analysis and design.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Vocera communication systems.
