About the position

The Associate VP, Brokerage Sales at Humana is a leadership role focused on driving sales growth and agent recruitment within the brokerage sector. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance the sales of Humana products and non-Humana products through the IFG Brokerage. The AVP will lead a team, oversee the growth of agents, and build infrastructure to support sales initiatives, while collaborating with senior leadership to influence enterprise investments and drive associate engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead various program initiatives such as retail store staffing and Broker Select Agent transitions into IFG Brokerage Sales.
• Achieve new sales growth targets on Humana products and revenue generation from non-Humana product sales.
• Oversee the growth and recruitment of agents within the brokerage.
• Develop, sell, and activate multi-year strategies for sales and growth.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to influence enterprise investments and execute sales strategies.
• Drive associate engagement and develop talent within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 8 or more years of relevant technical experience
• 5 or more years of people management experience
• Must have or be able to obtain a Health & Life Insurance and all appropriate state licenses.
