This is an existing role designed to assist the firm's wealth advisors with review meetings, creating and updating financial plans and research. We have a robust process with accompanying process manual. The roles and responsibilities can be adjusted for specific interest and expertise in the planning or portfolio arenas. Principal responsibilities - Associate Wealth Advisor/Paraplanner Effectively and ethically add value to the client experience Deepen existing client relationships and support the onboarding of new clients Respond to client questions and concerns according to Cornerstone Wealth service standards Work effectively with clients' other professional advisors such as attorneys and CPAs as necessary Participate (take notes and record action items) and present in client meetings (leading select meetings at advisor's discretion and direction) Communicate frequently with clients in meetings, on the phone, and through email Assist with the gathering and organizing of client data in order to build and update financial plans Oversee the financial planning process and ensure that client financial plans are up-to-date Prepare client meeting documents (portfolio reports, financial plans, agendas, research, etc.) Implement portfolio recommendations in client accounts Comply with all Cornerstone, Commonwealth, SEC, and FINRA regulations; satisfy continuing education requirements Remain up to date on industry developments, regulatory issues, service, and product enhancements, etc. Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Competencies BA or BS in Business Prior certification or willingness to enroll in CFP® certification program FINRA Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 or 66 registrations Experience in a client facing role (3+ years preferred) Excellent knowledge and communication of financial planning concepts and terminology Excellent knowledge of and ability to explain products, such as mutual funds, stocks, bonds, insurance, and annuities Proficiency with computer programs, including MS Office (particularly Excel), MoneyGuidePro™, & CRM systems Relationship-building skills and commitment to establishing long-term client relationships Self-motivated; goal-oriented at an individual and team level Commitment to providing outstanding client service Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Relocate: Richmond, VA 23226: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person If you require alternative methods of application or screening, you must approach the employer directly to request this as Indeed is not responsible for the employer's application process. loading
