About the position

The Associate Wealth Advisor plays a crucial role in managing relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) clients and supporting the firm's founder. This hybrid position is integral to the financial advisory practice, focusing on client interactions, operational efficiency, and compliance within the financial planning and investment management sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client interactions, ensuring timely responses to client questions and concerns.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing firm clients to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback on operational procedures for servicing clients and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Participate in assigned Wealth Advisor client meetings and escalate potential client issues as appropriate.
  • Engage in Client Case Prep meetings under the direct oversight of the Wealth Advisor, providing recommendations and feedback on clients' financial plans.
  • Review statements, forecast review data, develop meeting agendas, and create presentations and case documentation for assigned clients.
  • Prepare and process custodial paperwork, including insurance applications.
  • Manage and maintain suitability documentation according to client file standards.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and full disclosure in recommendations.
  • Initiate, process, and follow up on new business opportunities.
  • Document all notes and action items during client meetings and ensure timely completion of commitments made by the Wealth Advisor.
  • Review task assignments for each client and collaborate with team members to ensure follow-up and action items are completed in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Experience in financial advisory services and/or investment management.
  • Experience managing HNW client relationships.
  • CFP designation is a plus or interest in obtaining it.
  • Fidelity custodian platform experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with financial planning, Redtail CRM, portfolio management, and document management software.

  • Experience with Fidelity custodian platform.
