About the position

The position oversees the daily operations of a retail banking branch, assisting the operations manager and supervising branch personnel. The role involves ensuring compliance with bank policies, promoting bank services, and providing excellent customer service while meeting branch goals.

Responsibilities

• Assists Operations, ensuring bank policy and procedures are followed.
• Performs personal banking duties including advising customers on bank services, opening new accounts, and handling teller functions.
• Supervises employees to meet branch goals, including assigning work, ensuring quality service, scheduling, conducting performance reviews, recommending salary actions, and providing training.
• Promotes bank services and participates in community activities.
• Handles customer service duties such as answering inquiries, closing accounts, ordering checks, and ensuring high levels of customer service.
• Assists with compliance of the branch with bank policies and guidelines.
• Reviews reports, audit board, and NSFs.
• Assists with budget preparation.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs any other duties/projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of related banking experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Full knowledge of banking products and regulations applicable to the job function.
• Knowledge of bank operations and effective supervisory abilities.
• Skill in communicating courteously and professionally with clients and co-workers.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and train employees.
• Ability to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
