About the position

The Assistant Business Office Manager (ABOM) will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of a Mobile Dental company that provides dental care to residents in long-term care facilities. This position is designed for individuals with experience in office management within a nursing facility context, focusing on efficient collections, organization, and effective communication with facility managers regarding IME payments and claims processing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the business office operations for a Mobile Dental company.
  • Ensure efficient collections and follow-through on payments.
  • Educate Business Office Managers (BOMs) on managing and processing dental IME claims through the TX HHSC program.
  • Travel to contracted facilities for same-day discussions regarding IME payments.
  • Maintain organization and attention to detail in all office tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience in office management, preferably in a nursing facility setting.
  • Familiarity with the IME refund process.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and be people-friendly.
