About the position

The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Hilton Grand Vacations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. This role involves training staff, managing departmental activities, and stepping in for the Food and Beverage Manager when necessary. The position emphasizes effective communication and coordination with other departments to maintain productivity and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all guest interactions are handled positively, accurately, and efficiently.
• Assist management in ensuring departmental activities comply with policies and procedures.
• Train Food and Beverage co-workers in food quality, sanitation, safety, and service standards.
• Operate the department in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager.
• Participate in daily F&B operations to assist with workload and respond to inquiries.
• Supervise and account for the accurate collection of monies at F&B outlets.
• Resolve problems related to guest concerns, inventory, staffing, and other inquiries.
• Provide special services to owners/guests as directed.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination of F&B activities with other departments.
• Assist management with administrative duties such as budget control and scheduling.
• Ensure all F&B associates complete daily checklists and shift closing accurately.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Food and Beverage and retail operations experience in a 3+ diamond resort.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
