The Assistant Director of Human Resources, EEO & Compliance at Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) plays a pivotal role in guiding human resource functions under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This position is essential for ensuring that all HR practices align with the College's mission, vision, values, and strategic direction. The Assistant Director will oversee various aspects of labor relations, regulatory compliance, and equal employment opportunity (EEO) initiatives, contributing to a fair and equitable workplace for all employees. In this role, the Assistant Director will provide ongoing direction and supervision to HR staff, enhancing the delivery of HR services and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information. The position requires regular analysis and presentation of key HR metrics to internal stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making processes. The Assistant Director will also be responsible for developing and reviewing standard HR operating procedures to ensure consistent application of College policies. The Assistant Director will facilitate communication between employees and management, providing guidance on problem-solving, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. This includes managing the College's performance evaluation process and advising managers on labor contracts and employment law.
