About the position

The Assistant Director of Clinical Operations (ADC) at Metropolitan Healthcare Services plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing clinical programs. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the ADC is responsible for the execution, coordination, and monitoring of all clinical programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high standards of service delivery. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects and staff efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Operations with day-to-day management of clinical programs and personnel.
  • Work with the Director of Operations to maintain, sustain, and develop clinical programs and services throughout the organization.
  • Ensure consistent and smooth implementation of daily clinical operational procedures and new clinical startups.
  • Assist in developing strategies, standards, implementation planning, and goal/objective setting for clinical programs.
  • Coordinate and supervise daily clinical operations with Managers, Supervisors, and other leaders.
  • Ensure all clinical staff is compliant with state, local, and federal regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide medical and non-medical education and training to clinical staff when necessary.
  • Support the organization's strategic alliances, partnerships, and initiatives.
  • Ensure performance goals and key performance metrics are achieved.
  • Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
  • Maintain all clinical data in accordance with The Joint Commission (JC).
  • Maintain strict confidentiality related to work information in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Healthcare or Business Management or related field required.
  • 4+ years of experience as an Assistant Director or similar experience in a related capacity.
  • Knowledgeable in healthcare, project, or personnel management.
  • Highly computer literate and proficient in Microsoft products.
  • Exceptional clerical skills and strong business acumen.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Skilled collaborator and negotiator.
  • Excellent communicator both orally and written.
  • Comfortable self-starting assigned projects.
  • Confident and eager to engage with clients.
  • Must be able to work legally in the United States.
  • Must pass background and drug screenings.
  • Healthcare experience required.
  • Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Ability to work well under time constraints and under pressure.

  • Ability to work flexible schedules and/or extended hours is sometimes required.
