About the position

The Assistant Extended Learning Administrator (Part Time) plays a crucial role in supporting the hiring, recruitment, and placement of staff within the Promising Scholars program. This position is primarily based at the Bransford Office Campus and is responsible for collaborating with leadership to ensure effective staffing and operational support for the program. The Assistant will also be tasked with creating, updating, and implementing policies and handbooks under the direction of management. This role may involve acting as a receptionist, answering general inquiries related to the program, and providing information to staff and families about the initiatives in place to accelerate scholars' learning. In addition to administrative duties, the Assistant will support leadership by attending various meetings, including Executive Leadership and other relevant gatherings. Responsibilities include managing meeting agendas, documenting discussions, and formalizing documentation for distribution. The Assistant will also compile and archive supporting documentation for audit and monitoring requests, ensuring that all necessary records are maintained accurately. This includes managing contracts, rosters, timesheets, and other site-specific documentation. The role requires the generation of regular enrollment reports and monitoring site capacity to ensure that the program operates efficiently. The Assistant will take notes during meetings and complete various detailed reports for district, state, and government offices. A strong mastery of computer and office skills is essential, as the Assistant must demonstrate the ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and make decisions within the scope of their assigned authority.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to support hiring, recruitment, and placement for staff (i.e., Promising Scholars).
  • Create, update, and implement policies and handbooks with direction from management.
  • Act as receptionist, answering general calls, emails, and questions related to accelerating scholars' initiatives.
  • Attend weekly Executive Leadership, Leadership, and other meetings, managing agendas and formalizing documentation for distribution.
  • Compile and archive supporting documentation for audit and monitoring requests related to the program.
  • Screen and direct calls and emails, answering questions to relieve leadership of details.
  • Generate enrollment reports regularly and monitor site capacity.
  • Take notes at all relevant meetings for the program.
  • Complete various detailed reports for district and State and Government offices.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; preferred education not specified.
  • Three to five years' experience in high volume office work required.
  • Mastery of computer and office skills.
