Asst General Counsel and Data Privacy Officer

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience working in a corporate legal or compliance department and/or law firm (big law firm experience a plus) with compliance, data privacy and investigations experience required.
• Litigation and/or corporate experience a plus.
• Strong research, legal analysis and communication skills.
• Ability to understand, analyze and interpret various state laws and regulations and effectively communicate highly complex information.
• Experience leading and/or directing the work of other employees.
• Must be proactive, responsive and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Travel up to 10%, as needed
