About the position

The Assistant Resident Services Director (ARSD) at Allegro Management Company plays a crucial role in supporting the Resident Services Director (RSD) in overseeing Assisted Living Services. This position focuses on ensuring the needs of residents are met while maintaining high standards of service, quality care, and resident satisfaction. The ARSD is responsible for assisting in the administration and operations of the Assisted Living Department, promoting a safe environment, and supervising care staff to deliver day-to-day care to residents.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe environment for all residents, visitors, and associates through vigilance regarding infection control and life safety.
  • Work with Care Staff to create Resident Service Plans.
  • Assist the Sales & Marketing Department to assess prospects and new residents as directed by the RSD.
  • Maintain daily communications with the RSD to promote continuity of care and maintenance of services for the residents.
  • Maintain Department compliance with the operating budget through the use of purchase order system and budget control procedures.
  • Supervise the Care Staff in providing day-to-day care to the residents, including bathing assistance and health monitoring.
  • Assist with resident care activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed RN or LPN in good standing with the State Licensing Agency where the community is located.
  • CPR/AED certification is required.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in Geriatric, Long Term Care, or Assisted Living with Assisted Living Training preferred.
  • One (1) year supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems is a plus.
