The Risk Advisory Services Intern is responsible for partnering with more experienced Risk Advisory Services professionals to provide risk consulting and issues resolution to clients in the areas of internal audit, SOX, business process improvement, information technology, and fraud investigations. In this role, the intern will participate in various stages of an internal audit or consulting engagement, providing assistance with planning, field work, engagement wrap-up, and report composition. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk advisory services while working closely with seasoned professionals in the field. As part of the engagement process, the intern will assist with informational interviews and facilitate meetings with clients. They will be responsible for obtaining information, documents, and data from clients to support the completion of analysis and research of client issues. The intern will also document and analyze the client's processes, risks, and controls under the guidance of Risk Advisory Services professionals. Additionally, they will assist in developing initial deliverables and/or solutions to client issues, utilizing research tools, databases, and trade publications to enhance their understanding of the client's industry. The intern will maintain all documentation and work papers associated with client engagements and may also assist with the research and drafting of proposals. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about the risk advisory field and contribute to meaningful projects that impact clients and their operations.
