About the position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate and certified Caregiver Angels to provide essential home care services to seniors in King County. This role offers flexibility and meaningful work, allowing caregivers to assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. The position includes various shifts and the opportunity to join a supportive and award-winning team.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist clients with errands and transportation needs.
• Provide heavy hands-on personal care for bed-bound clients.
• Support clients with end-of-life hospice care under nurse delegation.
• Maintain communication with office staff regarding client needs and available shifts.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• CNA or Home Care Aide Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in caregiving or nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work 1-on-1 with clients in their homes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with end-of-life care.
• Knowledge of care plans and medication management.
• Strong communication skills.
