About the position

The At Your Service Center Associate at Macy's is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service during various in-store activities, including Buy Online Pickup in Store transactions and processing returns. This part-time role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a great customer experience during all At Your Service activities.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store transactions and process return merchandise.
• Handle non-congruent items and perform other assigned duties according to procedures and standards.
• Greet and connect with customers in a friendly manner.
• Recommend products by identifying customer needs and inspiring purchases.
• Wrap up the customer shopping journey and celebrate their purchases.
• Assist customers in all aspects of the total store experience.
• Monitor alerts to ensure timely completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store orders.
• Conduct customer pick-up and deliver orders curbside.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to drive sales.

Requirements

• Good understanding of the products being sold.
• Comfortable communicating with customers virtually, via phone, and in person.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and achieve sales goals.
• Utilize point of sale technology and applications effectively.
• Self-driven to keep up with product knowledge and trends.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues.
