About the position

The Ataccama Architect role at Cognizant involves designing and implementing robust data management solutions to enhance data integrity and operational efficiency. The position requires extensive experience in data quality, governance, and the use of Ataccama tools, with a focus on collaboration across cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. The architect will also mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with data governance policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and maintenance of data quality frameworks using Ataccama.
• Provide technical expertise in Java and Python to develop scalable and efficient data processing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
• Develop and implement data quality metrics and monitoring systems.
• Conduct regular data quality assessments and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement best practices for data management and data quality assurance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on data quality and management practices.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of data management tools and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or equivalent.
• 11 to 14 years of experience in data management and architecture.
• Strong background in Data Quality Basics, Java, Python, Data Management, Functional DQG Architect, and Ataccama.
• Experience in developing and implementing data governance policies.
• Proven track record of implementing data quality frameworks.
