About the position

The ATE Test Engineer role focuses on the development and execution of ATE test programs and silicon qualification. The engineer will be responsible for defining test plans, developing test programs for Advantest V.93 testers, and performing characterization testing. This position requires hands-on debugging and analysis to improve test solutions, as well as collaboration with design teams and vendors to ensure effective testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop ATE test programs for Advantest V.93 tester (wafer sort and pkg) / V93k.
  • Define and implement test plans for ATE testing and silicon qualification.
  • Perform characterization testing and prepare test specifications, including defining tests, conditions, and criteria.
  • Conduct hands-on test debugging and RMA analysis to improve test solutions.
  • Develop team technical competency and build product test plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Conduct product test and release reviews, approving test program releases.
  • Maintain and improve the product test process.

Requirements

  • Experience in ATE Test Program Development using C++ and/or VB.
  • Knowledge of hardware development, specifically loadboard and probecard, with Advantest V93K ATE testers.
  • Qualified in testing at least two silicon products based on AEQ100, JESD-22, or equivalent standards.
  • Good understanding of the manufacturing process including fabrication, packaging, and testing.
  • Ability to work independently at customer locations and collaborate effectively with design teams.
