About the position

Athenix is seeking a Training Developer 2 to develop learning solution documentation and training aimed at achieving specific learning goals. This role will be performed on a Prime contract in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The Training Developer will be responsible for organizing complex information into hierarchies, flows, taxonomies, or other structures to clearly convey information to learners. This involves recommending appropriate learning solutions and modalities based on an analysis of learning goals, project constraints, as well as budget and schedule limitations. The position requires the development of comprehensive learning solution documentation, which includes storyboards, job aids, and design plan documents. The Training Developer will consult with stakeholders to gather requirements and document concepts, processes, work tasks, and related subject matter. Additionally, the role involves drafting scripts, narration, text, and other content necessary for the learning solutions. To enhance learner engagement, the developer will also be tasked with creating interactive technologies and learning modules using COTS/GOTS software such as Camtasia, Captivate, Articulate, and Blackboard. The incorporation of media components, including videos, images, animations, or interactive elements into the learning products, is also a key responsibility of this position.

Responsibilities

• Develops learning solution documentation, including storyboards, job aids, and design plan documents.
• Consults with stakeholders to gather requirements and document concepts, processes, work tasks, and related subject matter.
• Drafts scripts, narration, text, and other content for learning solutions.
• Develops interactive technologies to increase learner engagement.
• Creates learning modules with COTS/GOTS software such as Camtasia, Captivate, Articulate, and Blackboard.
• Incorporates media components such as videos, images, animations, or interactive elements into learning products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Systems Design, or related field, or an additional 4 years of recent experience in Instructional Systems Design or adult Education development.
• 2 years of recent related experience in an Instructional Systems Design or adult Training development role.
• Experience developing training in a web development environment.
• Experience with one or more of the following tools: Camtasia, Captivate, Articulate, and Blackboard.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
