The Athletic Director/Dean of Students plays a crucial role in the management and oversight of the athletic programs and student discipline within the school. This position is under the direct supervision of the Executive Director or their designee and encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of interscholastic athletics for grades 6-12, as well as maintaining a comprehensive discipline program for students in grades TK-8. The Athletic Director is tasked with planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the athletic program, ensuring that it meets the needs of the students and the school community. This includes organizing all interscholastic athletic events, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with eligibility requirements for student-athletes. In addition to the athletic responsibilities, the Dean of Students is responsible for overseeing student discipline, which involves addressing behavioral issues, implementing disciplinary measures, and fostering a positive school environment. The role requires collaboration with school administration to develop and enforce rules and regulations that govern student conduct, both in and out of the athletic context.
