About the position

The Athletic Director at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School is responsible for leading and administering the school's athletic program for elementary and middle school students. This part-time role involves recruiting students and coaches, maintaining communication with parents, and ensuring compliance with documentation and scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting players and coaches for each sport
• Organizing team rosters for each sport
• Managing sports schedules and communicating details to the school office, parents, and coaches
• Conducting meetings with coaches, parents, and students
• Maintaining coaches' credentials and ensuring all coaches and players have proper documentation
• Managing sports equipment and uniforms
• Setting up and putting away equipment for practices and games, including lining fields for soccer games
• Attending all home games

Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma
• Athletic coaching experience
• Sports program management experience
• Some related college courses
