About the position

Bucknell University is seeking an Athletics Marketing Manager to creatively promote its 27 athletic teams and over 750 student-athletes. This full-time position will leverage communication, marketing, and fan engagement strategies to support the department's fundraising and ticketing goals, reporting directly to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Revenue Generation & Strategic Advancement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee digital campaigns for Bucknell Athletics.
• Manage the department's social media strategy and implementation.
• Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and External team to enhance the Bucknell Athletics brand.
• Manage digital assets and measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives using analytics.
• Travel to select athletic competitions to highlight student-athlete successes.
• Support initiatives to increase fan and student attendance at athletic events.
• Assist with staffing game day operations and special departmental events.
• Facilitate marketing and promotional efforts for key sports events.
• Oversee game day execution of marketing plans, including entertainment scripts and promotions.
• Collaborate with Bucknell Sports Properties for in-game promotions and sponsorship activations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2 years of experience in athletic events, operations, marketing, or promotions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain specific timelines.
