About the position

The ATI AP MECH position at Air Transport International Inc. involves the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft communication equipment. Mechanics are expected to be vigilant for defective parts and maintain a clean work environment while completing assigned duties under the supervision of management.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components and powerplants.
• Perform maintenance on aircraft communication equipment and associated components.
• Sign for work accomplished and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment by being alert for defective or worn parts.
• Complete housekeeping duties as assigned, including policing the work area.
• Attend all company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
• Travel to other ATI stations to assist with maintenance as directed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant License (FAR 121.378a).
• Experience with 757/767 aircraft.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and sit for extended periods.
• Must complete a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 80 feet.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Parts 121, 125, 145; Heavy transport category aircraft experience preferred.
• Valid passport or the ability to obtain one.
