About the position

This position is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and projections for Tech Ops, directly supporting the V.P. of Tech Ops and other maintenance functions. Key responsibilities include reconciling accounts payable anomalies, validating invoices, preparing documentation for accounts receivables, and analyzing expenditures for recapture from customers. The role also involves developing efficient data collection methods and assisting with procurement and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile anomalies in accounts payable and validate invoices.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for accounts receivables.
• Act as the primary focal point for costs and supporting data for insurance and warranty claims.
• Manage special tech service projects requiring authorization for expenditure preparation.
• Analyze expenditures and prepare for recapture from internal and external customers.
• Develop and implement new data collection methods for expenditure review and budgeting preparation support.
• Assist with procurement of non-normal acquisitions and review compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support the materials department with cost analysis for effective inventory control.
• Investigate and recommend corrections for invoice payment issues.
• Analyze and determine root causes of purchase and payment cycle interruptions.

Requirements

• Understanding and experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
• Understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
• Ability to work occasional extended hours.

Nice-to-haves

• Maintenix database experience.
• Background or experience in Accounting, Finance, Analytics, Forecasting Methodologies.
• Airline Material Supply Chain Experience.
• Associate's Degree in a related aviation or accounting field.
