About the position

The ATI Tech Ops Safety Assurance Analyst position is crucial for ensuring safety and regulatory compliance within the Technical Operations Department. This role involves facilitating various functions of Safety Assurance, which are essential for maintaining high safety standards and adhering to regulatory requirements. The analyst will be responsible for creating and managing departmental and temporary Safety Assurance audits in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs). Additionally, the position requires maintaining a comprehensive database that tracks the completion status and due dates of all audits, ensuring that all safety measures are up to date and compliant with industry standards. In this role, the analyst will assist SMEs in developing and executing necessary Safety Assurance and Continuous Analysis Surveillance System (CASS) audits. They will also be tasked with updating the database as audits are completed and new ones are initiated. The analyst will provide program reports as requested and support the department in developing new programs aimed at enhancing regulatory compliance and safety in line operations. Furthermore, the analyst will work closely with SMEs to manage findings from the ATI Internal Evaluation Program (IEP) and CASS mitigations, acting as a liaison to facilitate the closure of audit actions. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can prioritize multiple objectives in a dynamic environment, ensuring that all safety and compliance measures are effectively addressed. The analyst will also be responsible for collecting, archiving, and analyzing data obtained from other Technical Operations programs, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of the operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist SMEs to develop and execute required Safety Assurance and CASS audits
  • Maintain database containing all Technical Operations audits and completion dates
  • Update database as audits are completed and newly created
  • Provide program reports as requested
  • Assist the department 119's or his/her designee in development of new programs to provide enhanced regulatory compliance and safety in line operations
  • Assist SMEs and maintain a database containing IEP findings and CASS mitigations
  • Liaison with IEP to facilitate audit closing actions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience organizing projects through a cycle of success or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Exceptional skill in working with others to accomplish goals
  • Detail oriented characteristics with an ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a dynamic environment with constantly shifting priorities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation or five (5) years of airline experience in operations or maintenance
  • Familiarity with all facets of Technical Operations (Line, MX Control, Quality Control)
  • Experience in SMS function and database creation/management
  • Audit skills and knowledge of FAA oversight in SMS management
