About the position

The Hardware Assisted Verification Engineer position is part of the Atlas Graduate Program at Siemens Digital Industries Software. This role involves defining and directing a product or product family throughout all stages of the product life cycle, from concept to end-of-life. The engineer will collaborate with product marketing and sales to develop successful product launch strategies and will work closely with development teams to ensure the product meets revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The position offers a unique opportunity for technical and non-technical training, mentorship, and hands-on experience in the electronic design automation field.

Responsibilities

  • Define and direct a product or product family throughout all stages of the product life cycle.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and sales on product launch and go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage the product through its life cycle to meet established goals for revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Work under direct management to perform essential activities related to product management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor logic design and verification.
  • Basic skills in hardware description languages (VHDL, SV, UVM, etc.).
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (PERL, Python, TCL, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic understanding of HDL simulation, logic synthesis, integrated circuit (IC) place and route, timing analysis (SDC), logic equivalence checking, CDC and RCD checking.
  • Familiarity with standard interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, USB, etc.).
  • Fundamental skills in software design in a modern language.
