About The Position

The ATM Product Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and marketing new payment card and related products for various divisions or market segments. This role involves reviewing and modifying existing products to maximize profitability, meet strategic business objectives, improve competitive market position, and satisfy customer needs.

Requirements

  • College Degree in accounting, finance, or business and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of banking product design/development and/or business development experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in treasury management product management, payment card management, and/or internet-based payments and information services.
  • 3-5 years of project management related experience.
  • Knowledge of banking products and design.
  • Knowledge of marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Knowledge of product/community/market relationships.
  • Knowledge of bank Treasury Management products, services, operating systems, and interactions with the Federal Reserve Bank.
  • Basic knowledge of rules and regulations governing accounts and cash management operations.
  • Superior product development skills.
  • Ability to interpret market needs.
  • Superior marketing and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to research and compile information for recommending product and/or services marketing opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates potential products and recommends the development of new products or modifications to existing products to meet community needs and bank financial goals.
  • Designs, develops, and implements new payment card and related products or modifies existing products in conjunction with other bank departments and external vendors.
  • Monitors the profitability of existing products and services, making recommendations to improve profitability, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Evaluates existing products, processes, and services to ensure competitiveness in the market, performing formal market evaluations regularly.
  • Sets and recommends strategies and goals for the marketing of assigned products and services, including market direction, pricing, and budget.
  • Works with marketing and appropriate product line sales channel partners to develop measurable programs, campaigns, and collateral that promote assigned products.
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends and regulations, proactively identifying changes affecting the assigned product line and department.
  • Works with internal compliance and regulatory departments to ensure products and services are compliant with state and federal oversight agencies.
  • Responsible for organizational integrity and business ethics related to this position.
  • May have access to cash, customer accounts, and/or sensitive and confidential information.
  • Complies with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry-related laws and regulations.
  • Performs other related job duties, including special projects as assigned.
