About The Position

The ATM Settlement Specialist at WSFS Bank is responsible for supporting the operational functions of over 4,500 ATMs and 2,500 Smart Safes managed by Cash Connect. This role involves handling settlement operations, including cash order closures, adjustments, claims filing, and financial transaction balancing, all within strict deadlines. The Specialist must independently manage reporting on exception terminals and escalate issues as necessary, while also performing various clerical and accounting functions according to standard procedures.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Accounting/Finance or 2 years of experience in cash logistics.
  • Experience in ATM operations, bank operations, retail banking, or another banking capacity is preferred.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve complex situations, including monetary errors and reporting discrepancies.
  • Strong independent reasoning, analytical skills, and practical knowledge of systems/applications.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while prioritizing responsibilities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft software products, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze information from internal/external systems, courier, customer, and processor to investigate cash order differences.
  • Accurately process settlement of ATMs and balance transactions to accounts/general ledgers.
  • Research and resolve at-risk terminals and update reports accordingly.
  • Deliver clear communications regarding daily discrepancies to customers, couriers, and other Associates.
  • Submit claims in accordance with contractual guidelines to prevent financial loss.
  • Document all customer communications and resolutions in the Settlement System Contact Log.
  • Escalate known issues with supporting documentation to Management in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Impact Planning Meetings and assist in plan completion.
  • Attend training sessions related to Cash Connect processes.
  • Support other Associates in training and completing tasks during high volume times.
