About the position

The Warehouse Technician plays a crucial role in the efficient management and organization of warehouse operations, specifically focused on shipping ATMs and their repair parts. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. Key responsibilities include requesting inventory upon assignment of work orders, unpacking ATMs, and conducting thorough tests on each device to ensure proper functionality. The technician is responsible for replacing parts as necessary, loading software, configuring routers, and applying branding materials to the ATMs. Additionally, the role involves securely re-packing ATMs with shipping foam and tape and moving them to the shipping team. The Warehouse Technician must maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits, ensure a clean and safe working environment, and operate various warehouse equipment. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures is crucial to ensure a secure workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Request inventory when a work order is assigned.
  • Un-pack ATMs.
  • Test each device on the ATMs to ensure they are working properly.
  • Replace parts if necessary.
  • Load software.
  • Configure router for each ATM.
  • Apply branding material to ATMs.
  • Re-pack ATMs with shipping foam and tape.
  • Move ATMs to shipping team.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with the technical aspects of ATMs, vending machines, or computers.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot electronic hardware and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with a diverse audience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong interest in understanding the functionality of devices.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging environment with tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Field service experience, preferably with NCR equipment is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience with Oracle and/or Workday is a plus.
