About the position
The Research Project Coordinator II at A.T. Still University is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of multiple clinical and academic research support projects. This role involves ensuring that projects are delivered on time, adhering to research protocols, and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, faculty, and research participants. The coordinator must be adept at using technology and managing research-specific equipment and software.
Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, implement, and execute research projects to meet study objectives.
- Organize and lead research project status meetings with timely follow-up to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Provide consultation to principal investigators and key stakeholders on study-specific research processes.
- Recruit, screen, and enroll research participants.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory activities and duties, including IRB applications and maintaining approvals.
- Effectively manage fiscal and physical research resources, including preparation and submission of required status reports.
- Train, educate, mentor, and supervise research study personnel.
- Act as a liaison for research subjects, investigators, IRB, sponsors, funders, and healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate academic research tests and testing protocols with the curriculum department and course instructors.
- Write semi-annual and annual reports to regulatory bodies and funding agencies.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in leading and organizing multiple research studies and projects effectively.
- Effective and confident speaking, writing, and presentation skills.
- Relevant experience in clinical/academic/health sciences research.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong initiative, independent judgment, and teamwork skills.
