About the position

The Licensed Tax Professional (LTP) at MoneySolver is responsible for negotiating and submitting tax resolutions for clients. This role requires a strong understanding of IRS processes and regulations, as well as the ability to manage a pipeline of approximately 200 tax resolution cases. The position involves on-the-job training for a minimum of 90 days, during which the LTP will develop critical thinking and professional writing skills necessary for effective case management. The LTP is expected to provide quality oversight and demonstrate leadership in working with both clients and Tax Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and submit tax resolutions for clients.
• Manage a pipeline of approximately 200 tax resolution cases.
• Provide quality and compliance oversight as required by best practices and IRS Circular 230.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills in working with employees and clients.
• Review financial statements and analyze proposed outcomes by Tax Analysts.
• Ensure client cases are being appropriately worked and contracted services are addressed.
• Ensure work products meet IRS Circular 230 criteria and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Licensed Attorney in good standing with the Bar of a US Jurisdiction.
• Enrolled Agent in good standing and authorized to practice with the IRS.
• Certified Public Accountant in good standing with a US Jurisdiction.
• One year of experience in tax resolution case management or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of IRS processes and procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Sharp critical thinking skills.
• Impeccable professional writing and grammar skills.
• Commendable customer service skills.
