About the position

The Attorney Talent Acquisition Manager at Greenberg Traurig will oversee the strategic and full cycle recruitment process for various attorney positions within the Atlanta office. This role involves collaboration with senior leadership to align hiring strategies with the firm's goals, manage relationships with search firms, and coordinate recruitment programs for law students and associates. The position requires a strong focus on diversity and inclusion, reflecting the firm's commitment to equitable hiring practices.

Responsibilities

  • Researches, analyzes, and communicates strategic hiring intelligence to leadership.
  • Identifies market trends and aligns them with strategic goals to develop innovative recruitment strategies.
  • Meets regularly with leadership to review hiring needs and potential candidates.
  • Manages and coordinates the entire recruitment process for attorney candidates.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with search firms and counterparts in other firms.
  • Manages law student recruitment, summer associate, and first-year associate programs.
  • Assists with candidate and market research as necessary.
  • Maintains applicant database and department records, generating reports as needed.
  • Participates in local NALP city group chapter and attends meetings.
  • Performs special projects as requested by the Chief Talent Officer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Eight to ten years of related attorney recruiting experience, preferably with a large law firm.
  • Working knowledge of recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday, Firm Prospects, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment.
  • Familiarity with NALP guidelines and best practices.
