About the position

The Attorney Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in the recruitment process for a leading global law firm. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to address hiring needs, managing the full recruitment cycle, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires. The role is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work location while being integral to the firm's growth and talent acquisition strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Team up with office management, recruiting chairs, and practice group leadership to tackle hiring needs.
  • Coordinate all on-campus recruiting events and activities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for law school recruitment and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager for lateral attorney hires.
  • Manage the full recruitment process including interviews, evaluations, and communications.
  • Partner with HR, Conflicts, and other administrative departments to handle recruitment checks and new hire paperwork.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with search firms and manage the applicant database.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of attorney recruiting experience, ideally in a major law firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in attorney recruitment, preferably in a large law firm.
  • Experience with recruiting software and applicant tracking systems like Workday or LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with iCIMS ATS
  • Familiarity with legal recruitment processes
