About the position

The Attorney Talent Acquisition Specialist at Greenberg Traurig will play a crucial role in the full cycle recruitment process for lateral shareholders, associates, and non-track attorneys. This position involves managing the OCI/summer/first-year associate programs and providing support to other offices as needed. The specialist will work closely with office management and practice group leadership to address hiring needs and coordinate recruitment activities.

Responsibilities

  • Meet regularly with office management, recruiting chairs, and practice group leadership to review hiring needs and potential candidates.
  • Provide support for and coordinate all on-campus recruiting activities and events.
  • Manage the entire process for law school recruitment and assist the Talent Acquisition Manager with lateral attorney recruitment, including initial review of candidate materials and coordination of the interview process.
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition staff and other administrative departments to complete various recruitment-related checks and new hire-related paperwork.
  • Assist other offices with candidate and market research as necessary.
  • Manage relationships with search firms.
  • Maintain the applicant database and department records, generating reports as needed.
  • Assist with other department activities and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred.
  • Three to five years of related attorney recruiting experience, preferably with a large law firm.
  • Working knowledge of recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (i.e. Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
