About the position

The Attorney Talent Acquisition Specialist at Greenberg Traurig will play a crucial role in the recruitment process for lateral shareholders, associates, and non-track attorneys. This position involves managing the full cycle recruitment process, coordinating on-campus recruiting activities, and supporting various recruitment-related tasks across the firm. The specialist will work closely with office management and practice group leadership to address hiring needs and maintain relationships with search firms.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the full cycle recruitment process for lateral shareholders, associates, and non-track attorneys.
  • Manage the OCI/summer/first-year associate programs.
  • Meet regularly with office management and practice group leadership to review hiring needs and potential candidates.
  • Support and coordinate all on-campus recruiting activities and events.
  • Manage the law school recruitment process, including initial review of candidate materials and coordination of interviews.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager with lateral attorney recruitment, including communication with candidates and search firms.
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition staff and other departments to complete recruitment-related checks and new hire paperwork.
  • Assist other offices with candidate and market research as necessary.
  • Maintain applicant database and department records, generating reports as needed.
  • Assist with other department activities and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred.
  • Three to five years of related attorney recruiting experience, preferably with a large law firm.
  • Working knowledge of recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (i.e. Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
