About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Attorney to join our legal team at Dent Coulson Elder Law, LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, particularly Elder Law, Estates and Trusts, and Special Needs Planning. This role emphasizes excellent legal drafting and marketing skills, along with a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to clients. The Attorney will work collaboratively within a law office environment and contribute to the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents.
• Draft pleadings, estate planning documents, and other necessary legal paperwork.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations in various matters.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all client interactions.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
• Provide exceptional client service by responding promptly to inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in Illinois, with additional admission to Missouri a plus.
• Familiarity with areas of practice such as Elder Law, Estates and Trusts, and Special Needs Planning.
• Strong skills in legal drafting and writing are essential for success in this role.
• Previous experience in a law office setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
