Responsibilities

• Handle third-party litigation and first-party claims.
• Conduct legal research and prepare law and motion documents.
• Participate in trials, preferably with prior jury trial experience.
• Collaborate with support staff to manage case load effectively.
• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders regarding case progress.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in California and a member in good standing with the state bar.
• 3-20 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
• Experience handling first and third-party claims.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Familiarity with local and state discovery rules and trial procedures.
• Strong software skills including competency in Word, Outlook, and Lexis.
