About the position
CEF is seeking a senior attorney with extensive litigation experience, covering all aspects from initial analysis to trial. The role involves representing corporate and business entities as well as individuals in personal and property liability matters. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a desire for a diverse and intellectually stimulating practice. Preference will be given to those with experience in insurance contract interpretation and liability cases.
Responsibilities
- Engage in all aspects of litigation from initial analysis to trial.
- Represent corporate and business entities in personal and property liability matters.
- Communicate effectively in writing and orally with other professionals.
- Participate in business development activities to enhance client relationships.
- Attend legal education conferences and seminars for professional development.
Requirements
- Demonstrated competency in litigation.
- Experience in insurance contract interpretation.
- Knowledge of catastrophic general liability and/or professional liability.
- State of MI Bar License.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
- Participation in legal organizations such as DRI or ABA.
