About the position

The Auction Transportation Logistics Coordinator at Element Fleet Management plays a crucial role in the Remarketing Department, ensuring efficient transportation of vehicles across the US. This position focuses on maintaining up-to-date inventory, fostering collaboration with internal and external partners, and enhancing customer experience through strategic vendor relationships and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between the Remarketing, Collateral Services, FPS, Ordering, and Sourcing departments to identify information needed for moving units throughout North America.
  • Utilize strategic relationships with transportation vendors to transport units to auctions while maximizing returns at the lowest cost.
  • Prioritize emails and ensure that internal and external business needs are met.
  • Provide oversight to inventory management and partner with the Remarketing Sales Team to meet priorities.
  • Actively monitor inventory to identify geographical trends and challenges, adjusting strategies to improve customer service.
  • Partner with Remarketing Field Managers to ensure efficient transportation and proper check-in of units at auctions.
  • Build and foster relationships with transportation vendor contacts and auction contacts to monitor inventory and collaborate on strategic projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of business experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook or comparable software application.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and adapt to programs and apps designed specifically for Element Fleet Management.
