About the position

The Sales Client Advisor is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales quotas for new and used vehicles. This role involves coordinating with the sales manager, introducing customers to various departments, and utilizing effective sales techniques to meet profit margin goals. The advisor must maintain a professional appearance, follow company procedures, and actively develop prospects while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Devote himself/herself to ensuring satisfaction to customers.
  • Determine management, production and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
  • Attend company meetings as required.
  • Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects.
  • Establish personal performance goals that are consistent with company standards of productivity.
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year.
  • Understand the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes.
  • Know and understand the federal, state and local requirements which govern the company's business.
  • Follow lawful directions from supervisors.
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures.
  • Participate in performance management.
  • Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.
  • Uphold the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies.
  • Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
  • Coordinate with the sales manager to set and meet new and used sales quotas.
  • Introduce customers to parts, service, F&I, and general merchandise departments.
  • Utilize floor time effectively in meeting the customer's needs and soliciting sales.
  • Ensure customers are aware of the features and benefits on all products.
  • Complete all paperwork correctly and on time.
  • Effectively use the computerized inventory control system.
  • Actively develop prospects.
  • Demonstrate to the customer the advantages of products compared to other brands.
  • Cross sell accessories, additional parts, F&I products, service contracts, warranties, etc.
  • Greet customers promptly and courteously.
  • Verify that customers are qualified for their wants, needs, and ability to buy.
  • Handle customer complaints with empathy and a pleasant attitude.
  • Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly.
  • Utilize a consistent quotation process for purchases, trade-ins, and vehicle sales.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspection and road test before delivery to customer.
  • Attend pertinent trainings and stay current with sales department concerns.
  • Sell/lease and deliver a minimum of 9 units per month.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully.
  • Explain fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
  • Offer test drives to all prospects.
  • Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up system.
  • Document ALL communication with customers in CRM.

Requirements

  • Driver's License
  • Clean DMV
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.
  • Basic Technology Skills (Email, Microsoft Office, Mobile Device etc.)
