About the position

The Audio Algorithm Porting and Optimization Engineer will work closely with the customer Audio algorithm team to assist in productizing audio algorithms. This role involves porting algorithms to various processors, including HIFI3, Qualcomm DSP, and ARM, while ensuring optimal performance through effective coding and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the customer Audio algorithm team to productize algorithms.
• Port algorithms to different processors such as HIFI3, Qualcomm DSP, and ARM.
• Conduct algorithm testing and optimization.
• Write and maintain C code for audio algorithms.

Requirements

• 3-8 years of experience in audio algorithm development and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of optimization techniques for platforms like HIFI3/4/5, Hexagon DSP, and ARM processors.
• Familiarity with audio postprocessing and filtering techniques such as IIR, Biquad, FIR, FFT, EQs, DRC, and Loudness Enhancer.
• Understanding of audio preprocessing algorithms including AEC, Beamforming, Noise reduction, and Noise suppression.
• Proficient in C programming language.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in audio porting and optimization in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
