About the position

The Audio Technician role is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio equipment for events and performances. This position requires collaboration with production teams and visiting audio technicians to ensure high-quality sound and a successful event experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Load-in & Out of band equipment and rental equipment
  • Set Up and Break down of Band and Event Equipment
  • Cabling and patching while working as a team
  • Make audio adjustments and maintain safe audio levels
  • Operate Audio Control Boards
  • Oversee visiting audio techs during shows
  • Protect, maintain, and repair audio equipment
  • Assist with production throughout the venue as needed
  • Support the Production Manager with technical advances with artists' representatives
  • Ensure proper care and handling of all company and rental audio equipment
  • Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show
  • Distribute or create audio plans
  • Oversee and operate audio systems throughout the venue
  • Schedule and meet audio needs for special events with professionalism
  • Maintain relationships with local and national audio vendors
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of sound, light, and stage equipment
  • Assist the Stage Manager with show passes
  • Help the lighting crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
  • Assist with any special events operations

Requirements

  • 3 years minimum Tour and Stage Production experience
  • Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems, and basic video systems
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications
  • Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma
