Responsibilities

• Engage in hands-on testing and tuning of audio algorithms within a lab environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and program managers to discuss testing methodologies and optimization strategies.
• Provide early feedback on performance and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.
• Work closely with algorithm designers and product managers to understand system functionality and identify potential enhancements.
• Design and propose new test methods to improve test coverage and enhance overall user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid understanding of Applied Acoustics, Digital Signal Processing, Psychoacoustics, and Acoustic measurements and analysis.
• 5+ years of experience in audio system development, including tuning, integration, verification, and automated audio test development.
• Experience with scientific programming languages such as MATLAB or Python and acoustic measurement equipment like GRAS and B&K.
• Demonstrated communication skills and experience working across disciplines.

• Expertise in audio signal processing and acoustic measurements on wearable devices.
• Proven track record in tuning and acoustic optimization of wearable audio devices, automated audio test development, and psychoacoustic optimization.
